Andy joined the lab in 2021 and graduated in Spring 2023. A US Marine Corps veteran, he now serves in the Minnesota National Guard while attending medical school at the Mayo Clinic on a full scholarship. Andy worked with Rabi to understand the molecular details of environmental stress activation in B. subtilis, with a focus on the role of RsbT.
