Madeline Toews is from Ripley, Oklahoma. She is majoring in Microbiology with a Pre-med option. Madeline was a steadfast member of the lab from 2017-2019 while she studied how different stress-sensing proteins in Bacillus subtilis affect cell survival under stressful conditions. For the 2020-2021 academic year, Madeline will be completing the OSU Medical Laboratory Sciences program at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
